Chelsea Clinton was not the only bride have a high profile wedding. Alicia Keys married her long term boyfriend - record producer - Swizz Beatz. The parents-to-be held the ceremony, with friends and family, on the French island of Corsica.
Both extremely successful in their own way: Alicia Keys was nominated to sing at the opening ceremony of the World Cup in South Africa. She has won a string of Grammy Awards since 2001, when she had her first hit. Swizz Beatz has produced for Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Racing Formula One
After a disastrous weekend in Hungary, McLaren have seen their lead in the construction title slip to second, havign been overtaken
by Red Bull Racing. Before the race, McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button lead the driver's championship, first and second
respectively. This was, however, on the back of defeats by Red Bull and Ferarri, in the last two races. Red Bull with their
superior car, now are favourites to win the title. The Formula One mid-season break could not have come at a more crucial time for
McLaren. This gives them the chance to re-group and re-discover the formula that had put them in the lead first place.
Meanwhile. Michael Schumacher apologised to his former team mate, Rubens Barrichello, after a dangerous move which forced
Barrichello, within centimetres of a concrete wall, whilst travelling 180mph.
Shumacher has been penalised 10 grid places at the next grand prix, as a consequence.

Smartphones are all the rage now. It was not too long ago until Nokia dominated the whole market but Blackberry and Apple, with their iPhone, changed the entire landscape. We are now spoilt for choice and deciding what is what is difficult. The basic difference between the mobile phone and smartphone is that the smart phone offers more advanced computing capability, than your ordinary phone. People demand more functionality in their phones.
As well as the regular mobile phone manufacturers, traditional non phone manufaturers are now involved: Microsoft, Palm, Google and Apple. Apple have struch first blow with their iPhone but now there is debate which operating system will dominate, as well as which phone.

Chelsea Clinton WEDDING
Chelsea Clinton marries her longtime boyfriend at an exclusive estate along New York's Hudson River. With all this doom and gloom regarding the economy, a summer cheer is what people need. Nothing is bigger than publicity - shy Chelsea Clinton's wedding. America have adopted her - and her parents - as royalty.
With a 500 guestlist, her longtime boyfriend, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, will also be treated like royalty. So secret is the ceremony that even the shopkeepers have had to stay quiet. People from all walks of like craning their necks to view, the star studded bash, mostly the father himself - Bill.
It is about time that there is something to cheer about.

Harry Potter's Birthday
Would you believe it. It's Harry Potter's birthday. Today, he would be 30 years old. Another person celebrating their birthday is the author herself, JK Rowling. Her birthday is on 31st of July. She is now 45, so happy birthday to them both.
Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry, turns 21. He was recently in St Petersburg, to celebrate. In the meantime, all Potter fans are keeping their eyes peeled for the final two installments of film series. Whilst filming has been completed, they are in post production.
